ABOUT US
The thing that most people ask is “Where did you get the name Ephemera Photographic’s?”
“ephemera- a thing that lasts for a markedly brief time”
The perfect moments that we capture in our photographs are bits of ephemera, never to be recreated. We can’t think of a better name for what we do. You can rest assured that at Ephemera Photographic’s each and every occasion is treated like the unique event that it is. Edward Anastasio personally handles every image to bring your dream to life, and each album is different, as we never use templates.
MEET OUR TEAM

Eddie Anastasio
From the time he was a small child, Eddie has loved photography, which is well documented in family photos. Whether it was taking pictures of neighborhood children at 4, photographing the Statue of Liberty as a Cub Scout at 7, or editing his high school yearbook, he could always be found with a camera in his hand. Immediately after high school, Ed began working as a newspaper photographer, darkroom technician and master printer. Fast forward a few years and he became interested in wedding photography. Weddings offered him the opportunity to work with couples on the happiest day of their lives, capturing those special moments so that they can be relived over and over again. In fact, that’s why he chose the name Ephemera for his company.

Kathy Anastasio
Kathy picked up the camera more recently, but has assisted Ed for over 40 years. Whether it’s heading the second crew, repairing a dress, putting on the boutonnieres, scouting a location for the first look, calming nerves, or bringing candy for the kids, she’s an integral part of the team.

Jessica Grisi
Jess has proven to be a valuable asset to the Ephemera crew. She assists Ed by acting as second shooter on the day of, and afterwards by pre-editing the completed pictures.

Bill Giersbach
Bill fills multiple roles. Whether as second shooter, or as videographer and video editor, he has shown himself to be a versatile member of the crew.
